Every person has access to the innate intelligence of the body as a doorway into well-being

No matter who you are or where you begin this journey, it is possible to learn to open to yourself and others, heal from traumas, experience new ways of being, move with less effort, imagine new possibilities, and feel empowered to take necessary action.

I am here to create a truly therapeutic and welcoming space. The heart of my work involves helping you listen deeply to yourself and trust your own experience. Healing becomes possible in a supportive relationship rooted in compassion and empathy. I meet people where they are and work collaboratively to attend to their individual needs. Together, we’ll invite curiosity and the body as guides for our work.

I offer movement education, psychotherapy, and coaching services to support people in cultivating the awareness, tools, and resources they need to awaken into full embodied presence.

I have over twenty years of experience supporting people to listen more deeply to themselves, to cultivate body awareness, and to develop the inner resources and tools needed to trust their experience and live with more ease. My broad-based education has helped me engage innovative body-based and mindfulness practices that support well-being, body integration, and resiliency.

I hold a master’s degree in professional mental health counseling from Lewis and Clark College, am a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, long-time meditator, and have advanced training in Somatic Experiencing Trauma Healing.  I have been investigating and studying body intelligence for most of my life.

I live in Portland, Oregon with my wife, our 9-year-old son, and dog Yukon. I relish time to move my body, be outdoors, and gather with friends.
